One of the “Kids In Need – Hungary” projects was to raise money to buy shoes for children. While this my seem trivial to some, shoes in Hungary are a big deal. Just $15 will buy a sturdy pair of shoes that will keep a child’s feet warm in the bitter cold and dry in the driving rain. If that isn’t compelling enough, a pair of shoes means the kids get to go to school. When they get to attend school, they get three full meals a day.
